Mr. Hoskote has over 20 years of international experience with Quality Methods and Excellence Models. His role at MAX India focuses on driving a Quality and Service Excellence agenda across all group companies, including The Max Performance Excellence Framework (Baldrige-based), Six Sigma, Lean, Customer focus, and Service and Product standards. Previously he served as Senior Vice President and Head of Customer Experience and Quality at Mashreqbank based in Dubai, UAE and held senior positions at Standard Chartered Bank and The Taj Group of Hotels. He has also been an assessor for the Tata Business Excellence Model.

Dr. Leonard has degrees in Construction Engineering and E

 ducation in addition to an M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Quality Management. He is co-author of, The Executive Guide to Understanding and Implementing The Baldrige Criteria. A former Professor of Quality at the University of Wisconsin, he has experience in Management, Engineering, Training and Auditing, with expertise in Strategic and Operational Quality Improvement. His work has achieved national, Quality, Environmental and Safety Awards for clients.

 

 


Dawn Ringrose

Since 1984, Dawn Ringrose has consulted to management in areas that positively contribute to organizational performance. She is author of the Organizational Excellence Framework, a unique publication that consolidates the principles and best management practices of leading global excellence frameworks and provides implementation guidelines for the practitioner. Dawn leads an international consortium of management consultants that deliver workshops and consulting services to client organizations across industry sectors.

Several of her clients have been recognized as national award recipients. Her credentials include: Fellow Certified Management Consultant, Master of Business Administration, Certified Organizational Excellence Specialist, Certified Excellence Professional, Registered ISO 9000 Specialist, Assessor of Quality Systems, and Certified Seminar Leader. Dawn currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board for the Caribbean Centre for Organizational Excellence and as the Canadian representative for the Global Benchmarking Network. Jorge Román

Jorge Román is currently a Director of Business Excellence Chile Ltda. He is also a Senior Examiner of the National Quality Award in Chile, and The Iberoamerican Award for Quality. In addition, he is an Examiner for the Asia Pacific Quality Award and international examiner for the Baldrige Training Program. He is a part-time professor at University of Chile, Business and economic school. ASQ (Senior Member), International Academy for Quality (Member), Vice Chairman of Global Benchmarkig Network (GBN) and APQO (life time member).

Jorge is a Mechanical Engineer with a MBA. His areas of expertise focus on the application of Quality Improvement to business in service and products.

Professional Speaking/Education & Training. He conducts organizational assessment using business excellence frameworks like Malcolm Baldrige, EFQM, CAF, ABEF, & Chilean to create customer-centric organizations. He has marked his global presence as Speaker in business excellence at local, regional, national and international levels. Ir. Dr. Lotto Lai

Ir. Dr. Lotto Lai is currently a Fellow and Former Chairman of Hong Kong Society for Quality (HKSQ), Senior Member of ASQ and Member in Hong Kong Institute of Engineer (HKIE) as well as, IRCA QMS Lead Auditor. He is also appointed as a member of Industry Training Advisory Committee (Testing, Inspection & Certification) of Qualification Framework under the Education Bureau. He has over 15 year hands-on experiences in scientific research, quality, safety and environmental management in commercial laboratory, university testing centre, certification body and consultants firm. He has served in Hong Kong Science and Technology Park since 2007. He is a science graduate in BSc, MPhil., and EngD of the City University of Hong Kong. Dr. Robin Mann

Dr Robin Mann is the Head of the Centre for Organizational Excellence Research, New Zealand; Chairman of the Global Benchmarking Network; and Co-Founder of BPIR.com Limited - a leading benchmarking website resource. Robin undertakes consultancy on business excellence and benchmarking all over the world.

Robin’s experience includes managing the UK’s Food and Drinks Industry Benchmarking and Self-assessment Initiative (1995-1998), New Zealand Benchmarking Club (2000-2004), chief expert for Sheikh SAQR Government Excellence Program, UAE (2005-2007), reviewing the Australian Business Excellence Framework (2006), chief expert for APO’s project on business excellence in Asia (2009-2011), developer of the TRADE best practice benchmarking methodology and founder of the International Best Practice Competition (2012 onwards). Robin worked in Edinburgh (1992-1995) for Burton’s Biscuits as a process improvement manager.

He obtained his PhD in TQM at Liverpool University in 1992. Robin was awarded the Harrington/Ishikawa Medal in 2011 for contributions to the advancement of quality in the Asia Pacific region. Robin can be reached at: r.s.mann@massey.ac.nz


Paul Harding

Paul Harding is Managing Director for South African Quality Institute. He is also currently Board member of South Africa Customer Satisfaction Index, Honorary member of International Association of Quality Managers and Auditors. He was the Previous vice chair Services SETA Quality Chamber Board. Earlier in his career, he was Head of Corporate Quality, Nissan South Africa, General Manager of Integrated Systems Management, Nissan South Africa & as Senior Manager of Quality Systems Development, Nissan South Africa.

He has done his Master Industrial Administration from University Cape Town; and majored in systems engineering practice, manufacturing technology and process design and design & management of operational systems. A dissertation was published on introducing Japanese Hoshin Kanri (policy deployment), quality and productivity improvement methodologies into a South African environment. He has received the dti National Quality Champion award for the biggest individual contribution to promoting quality in South Africa awarded by the South African Minister of Trade and Industry in 2011.

He was the co-author of a research paper on the principles of Top Executive Audits in conjunction with Hoshin Kanri policy deployment published in the International Journal of Managerial Auditing February 2007 (Emerald publishers), research paper on measuring quality in Electron Microscope laboratories published in Microscopy & Analysis November 2007 (John Wiley publishers), & research paper on Dynamic Capabilities and Hoshin Kanri published in the International Journal of Operations and Production Management (published by Emerald June 2008).

He was the author of an article in the December 2010 issue of ASQ’s Quality Progress magazine entitled “Shining on the World Stage” this article described how South Africa prepared for a Quality FIFA World Cup. Paul can be reached at: exec@saqi.co.za


Dr. Annabelle Palladas

Dr. Annabelle Palladas (ASQ Country Counselor for Greece) is currently working as Internal Audit Manager and Quality & Managerial Proficiency Responsible for a publicly owned European co-funded ICT large scale project management company in Athens, Greece.

After a B.Sc. in Physics, Annabelle continued her studies in Plasma Physics (M.Sc., Ph.D.) and then in other fields, acquiring university post-graduate degrees in: Management & Business Administration (MBA), Quality Management and Adult Distance Learning.

She is active in the quality field for twenty years, holding quality management - business excellence senior management and consulting positions in the high tech and ICT private and government sectors. She also works as Corporate Governance - Responsibility - Sustainability Assessor and Adult Trainer (Quality, Business Excellence and Trainer Training). Other professional activities include: Business Consulting (Business Planning, Quality System Audits, ABC Costing, Precision Measurements & Calibration Laboratory Organization, Training), Project Management, Common Assessment Framework (CAF) teaching and consulting. Prior to the above, Annabelle was a research scientist in France, in the field of Low Energy Plasma Physics.

Annabelle is a certified ISO 9001, ISM and HACCP Auditor and a certified Adult Trainer.

She was a European Quality Award Assessor (SME Category) for several years and an Associate of the Hellenic Open University (post-graduate Quality Management - Business Excellence and Metrology courses).

She has conceived and developed a pioneering (for its time) integrative business - corporate management paradigm (HIMS®) and an interactive software application (eCalQ®), covering quality topics, for which she won the IDEOPOLIS Greek National Business Plan Contest 1st Prize, in 2006.

Annabelle is a recognized author, with approximately 100 international - national publications, conference announcements and lectures on: Quality and Business Management - Excellence, Adult Education, Metrology and Physics.

Ravi Fernando

Ravi is a Business Excellence professional with 20 years’ experience working with Australian and Global organisations. Having started his professional career as a process improvement specialist with Accenture, Ravi has worked with leading management consultancies like Deloitte, CGI and SAI Global to deliver tailored improvement solutions to global clients. Prior to joining Thrive Plus, Ravi was the Head of Improvement Solutions for SAI Global and led a team managing the Australian Business Excellence Framework and the associated Australian Excellence Awards. In addition to his work with Thrive Plus, Ravi is currently a Board Director of the Australian Organisational Excellence Foundation and Australia’s representative on the Global Excellence Models Council.
Ravi has extensive experience in guiding organisations through transformational change initiatives leveraging international Excellence Models. His focus in recent years has been the use of the Australian Business Excellence Framework to guide organisations to develop the capability of their leaders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations. Ravi has also built a reputation in evaluating organisational performance and guiding rapid change to meet strategic objectives. Ravi brings to organizations a holistic approach to leadership, excellence and innovation.
