Mission: Provide thought leadership through the development and dissemination of comprehensive quality based techniques/tools to identify and assess enterprise-wide risks.

Mission Statement: To extend quality management tools/techniques and problem-solving methodologies into enterprise risk management to provide guidance to senior management and organizational leadership on critical aspects of organizational governance.

Charter:The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Technical Committee of the Quality Management Division (QMD) is responsible for developing high-level content, in the form of articles, books, conference publications, courses, web-based media, and other products, that:

• Educate executive, business, and quality professionals in the development of business strategies that include tools/techniques to identify and assess risks that can impact organizational performance.
• Provide business leaders with the needed perspective to support enterprise risk management as part of quality management.
